The Selection Phase
Monthly/Bimonthly meetings to provide assistance with:
- Refining College List (use Naviance & College Board)
- Recommendations for Senior Courses
- SAT/ACT Prep recommendations
- Planning & evaluating winter & spring college visits with advice on what to look for on college tours
- Evaluation of standardized tests (SAT/ACT/Subject Test)
- Refining College list using The Right School Graph
- Determining potential college majors
- Determining the best academic teachers to ask for recommendations
- Brainstorming college essay topics
- Editing draft Main College Essay
- Parent Meeting – Refine/finalize college list (application types)
The Application Phase
Weekly/Biweekly meetings to provide assistance with:
- Completion & Submission of Common APP, Coalition App & College Specific Apps
- Submission of SAT, AP & ACT scores to colleges
- Review/editing of College Essay & Supplemental Essays – ongoing coaching of drafts through final version
- Preparation & Coaching for College Interviews
- Mock Interviews
- Creation of Resume Template – ongoing coaching of drafts through final version
- Working with high school guidance department to coordinate sending of transcripts and recommendations
- Tracking applications after submitted

- Assist in the evaluation of college offers and finding the college that Fits Just Right!
